The artists we feature at our art center are working professional Virginia based artists and performers. Many of these artists have been featured in festivals, have recordings and performed professionally. We invite you to visit our center and catch a performance by one of our artists.
David Tyson
David Tyson (MFA/MA) has been performing for over twenty years, and has worked at various festivals, schools, and theaters throughout the USA including stints at: NYC’s acclaimed LaMama Theater, Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida, and at the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival. He has extensive experience in Physical Theatre forms and Improvisational theatre.
His current show - "A Fool's Odyssey" draws on the age old wisdoms of Homer’s Odyssey and other ancient Greek / Roman stories, Mr. Tyson presents a one man show with a cast of a hundred. Borrowing from the worlds’ of: theatre, magic, stand-up & improv, this is a fast paced, engaging and entertaining tale that seeks to answer the question: “How can I find my way back? ”
